About me

My name is Kanwar,  I’m 32 years old, and I’ve lived in Bristol my whole life.

I’ve loved health and fitness from as young as I can remember. When I was kid I would spend any spare time I had playing football with my friends, and as I got older, I spent more and more time in the gym and working on my health and nutrition.

After completing my Fitness Instructor Training, I attended university to obtain a degree in Sports Rehabilitation. My combined qualifications mean that I’m able to train on a one to one basis, carry out group training and small group classes, and offer Sports Massage and Sports Rehabilitation too. I offer a broad range of services and can help all abilities, ages, fitness levels, and assist with any injuries or health concerns.

I have personal training experience working internationally, and with clients ranging from teens to those in their 80’s and I can’t wait to work with you too!

My Mission

I believe within the times we are living we must learn to work for ourselves and create
something tangible which we own, can profit from, and then ultimately pass down to our children.

By running my own business I can benefit from controlling my own destiny, finding my own work/life balance, and working with people I want to work with. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve your goals.

What I Do

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Personal Training Suitable For Everyone?

Yes! I have trained all age groups, from kids to those in their 80’s. I tailor each session to fit with your specific goals and abilities.

How Often Will I Need To Train?
Typically I recommend having two sessions a week for the best results, but we can discuss how often when we have a consultation. It may be suitable for you to workout with me more than twice a week, or it might be better to build over a longer period of time and start with once a week.
Where Are You Based?

I am based in Bristol and predominantly work from St Pauls Community Sports Academy which is an Everyone Active gym. If there is somewhere else that you would prefer to workout then we can discuss this during our consultation.

Do We Workout In A Gym Setting Or Private Room?

At St Pauls Community Sports Academy, I have access to the Personal Training Gym, which means that we can workout in private. This is a great way to build confidence and be able to work one to one, without distractions.

How Do I Book A Session?

Contact me either via the contact form, emailing me directly, or giving me a call. I am really looking forward to chatting with you about your goals and getting a session booked in so we can begin your fitness journey.

"I had some treatment on a re-occurring knee problem after many years of football injuries. I found Kanwar very professional and easy to chat to. His treatment has helped me and I will continue to use his services for my rehab."

Gary Deane, Age 50

"Kanwar helped me throughout the football season by relieving tension in my back and hips and gave me strengthening exercises, keeping me injury free."

Omari Sims, Age 33

"Kanwar is a brilliant personal trainer. He understands what you can and can't do and knows how far to push you and when to stop. His encouragement is uplifting and he has a great sense of humour. I was only going to train for six weeks... it's now been five months!"

Julia, Age 60
